A memory setting is also featured with this technology. When you turn the unit off, the next time you touch to turn the mirror on, it will turn on at the brightness setting left when previously turned off. Additionally, this mirror features dual-sided, optical quality glass to ensure a clearer reflection of your true self. On one side, the 5/10/12X magnification is great for touch-ups, detail, and makeup application. While the 1X magnification is perfect for all-around hairstyling, cosmetics, and every beauty need in between. No matter how dims the environment, the dual-sided LEDs are powerful enough to illuminate your face without being harsh on your eyes. TOUCH TECHNOLOGY: On/Off and dimmer controls are designed to ONLY WORK ON THE PEDESTAL BASE; touching the mirror glass, bezel around mirror, and/or neck/stem will not activate the smart control operating technology. OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE CLOSER THAN APPEAR: This has a strong magnified mirror, there is an optimum viewing point for a clear image, if not at ideal distance, objects will be distorted and/or upside down, this is not a defect, mirror is designed to zoom in very close, may cause nausea when used for long periods of time.
