  High-quality down offers outstanding insulation at minimal weight. However, it clumps when exposed to moisture (air, sweat, condensation) and loses its insulating capability. Grüezi bag solves this issue with innovative DownWool® insulation.

• Wool: Effective Moisture and Temperature Regulation
  Wool keeps down naturally dry, preserving its insulation. It can absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture and gradually release it outside. DownWool® maintains its insulation even in 90% humidity, as wool fibers expand when damp, increasing loft by up to 30% and enhancing insulation. Wool also prevents evaporative cooling and maintains warmth even when wet—something no other material can achieve.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Washing:

• Washing instructions are in the sleeping bag's inner pocket.

• Use down detergent and wash at max. 30°C (86°F) on the wool cycle. Turn inside out, close the zipper, run an extra rinse cycle, and avoid fabric softeners.

• After washing, loosen the fill slightly and perform an extra spin cycle at max. 600 RPM.

Drying:

• Dry at max. 60°C (140°F) with 2-3 tennis balls to restore loft.

• Repeat drying cycles, shake between cycles, and allow cooling periods.

• If air-drying, lay flat on a drying rack and fluff frequently.

• The sleeping bag is fully dry when it feels fuller and fluffier than before.

TIP:

• Occasionally dry the sleeping bag with tennis balls to remove residual moisture.

• Store sleeping bags open and dry in the storage sack.

• When packing into the compression sack, stuff it from the foot end—do not roll or fold.

• Airing out is preferable to washing. DownWool® sleeping bags rarely need washing, as wool naturally resists odors and dirt.
